Kalinga Unoy (Chong-ak) from Kalinga
Kalinga Unoy or Chong-ak is a red-colored rice with oblong, medium-sized grains. It has a nutty flavor as well as a sweet herbal aroma akin to pandan. When cooked, the grains are loose and not compact. It is partially soft with a chewy quality.
